How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made for regular sightseeing cruises by contacting our head office Monday thru Friday (Contact Us) or by email using the ‘Request Information / Reservation’ form found on the boat tours pages. On weekends, reservations can be made by contacting the Miss Midland or Serendipity Princess ticket booth (Contact Us) . Reservations are required for all lunch and dinner cruises and a credit card is required to secure these reservations. We do recommended making reservations for all other cruises.
Can tickets be purchased online?
Unfortunately, tickets cannot be purchased online. Tickets can only be purchased the day of the cruise, however, reservations can be made ahead of time.
What if I have to cancel my reservation?
We require 24 hours notice in the event that you have to cancel your individual reservation for a meal cruise. For groups of 20 or more 48 hours is required.
Payment & Rates
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express as well as Interact and cash. Please note that credit cards are not accepted on board for snack bar and bar purchases. Please note that the Serendipity Princess out of Port Severn only accepts cash payment for ticket purchases as well as snack bar and bar purchases.
How old is a senior?
You will qualify for a senior discount if you are 60+ years young.
Is there a charge for infants and toddlers?
All children under 5 years of age are free for sightseeing cruises.
Do you offer special rates for service providers travelling with people with disabilities? We offer a discounted rate which is equivalent to the group rate and 50% off of that rate for the second person.
Are the boats safe?
Both the Miss Midland and Serendipity Princess are certified by Transport Canada and inspected annually. All staff are safety trained and meet the requirements stipulated by Transport Canada.
Do you have life jackets on the boat?
Both the Miss Midland and Serendipity Princess are equipped with life jackets in the event of an emergency.
Does the boat still go out in the rain?
Yes, both boats have enclosed areas and will sail in rainy weather.
What if there is severe weather?
The Captain of the boat will make the decision prior to sailing. Both boats are equipped with radar devices which allow the Captain to see any inclement weather that may be approaching.
Food & Drink
What sort of meal do you serve?
All lunch and dinner cruises are buffet style. The dinner menu consists of carved roast beef of baron, chicken breast, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, salad, assortment of breads/rolls, assortment of dessert and coffee/tea. The lunch menu includes all of the above excluding the roast beef.
What happens if I or someone in my group has a food allergy?
Please let us know at the time of reserving and we will gladly make a substitution to the menu
Am I allowed to bring on my own food?
Small snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted.
Is alcohol served on the boat?
Yes, both boats are licensed under the L.C.B.O.
Can I bring on my own alcohol?
Under no circumstances is personal liquor allowed on board.
Is smoking permitted on the boat?
Smoking is permitted in a designated area on both boats.
Are animals allowed on the boat?
Sorry, no animals are allowed on board. Identified service animals are permitted.
Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
Yes, both the Miss Midland and Serendipity Princess are wheelchair accessible.
Are there washrooms on the boat?
Yes, there are washrooms on both boats as well as a wheelchair accessible washroom.
Are your boats air-conditioned?
No, but both boats are well ventilated inside and there are open levels on the upper decks.
Is there parking close to the boat?
Free parking is available dockside in both Midland and Penetanguishene. In Port Severn, parking is located a short distance from the boat at Lock 45.
