Midland Tours Inc. offers 2 ½ hour fall colour tours on the Trent-Severn Waterway departing from Lock 45 in Port Severn, Ontario. The Serendipity Princess cruises to the Big Chute Marine Railway – the only marine railway of its kind in North America still in use.
The Serendipity Princess is a 265 passenger paddle-wheeler with triple decks featuring a patio on the upper level.
General Cruise Information
Reservations are required in advance for all cruises & can be made by contacting our head office (Contact Us) or by e-mail (Request Information / Reservations) below. Reservations for lunch cruises do require a credit card number to secure the reservation only. There is no ticket booth at this location so please go directly to the boat to check in & pay for your tickets. Payment for tickets is by cash only. Tickets can not be purchased prior to the day of the cruise.
All regular cruises are subject to availability & a minimum of 30 passengers. Please view our schedules page for availability. The Company reserves the right, without liability, to cancel, delay, shorten or change cruise schedules and routes when in its judgement, circumstances warrant.
Arrival & Boarding
The boat is located at Lock 45 in Port Severn, Ontario – 175 Port Severn Road, North. Free parking is available at Lock 45 in Port Severn. Boarding generally occurs 15 to 30 minutes prior to departure time.
Accessibility & Amenities
The Serendipity Princess is wheelchair accessible and the lower decks are fully heated. The Serendipity Princess is licensed under the L.C.B.O. & has a snack bar onboard. Regular & wheelchair accessible washrooms are located on the main deck.
