Charter Costs - Full Boat

Private charter pricing is based on a minimum cruise length of 2 hours ($1600) with a separate charge for each additional hour ($300) until 1:00 a.m..  These prices include G.S.T., the exclusive use of the boat and the required staff.  All catering, entertainment, bar, etc., are additional charges.

Charter Costs - Middle Level

Rental of the middle level is available  for $1000.00 (including G.S.T.), however, times must comply with our regular cruise schedules as indicated in our brochure.  Your group will have exclusive access to Level 2.  Your group is also freely allowed to access Level 1 and Level 3.

Capacity

The Serendipity Princess is a 3 deck paddle wheeler, Coast Guard approved for 265 passengers.  However, Company policy permits a maximum capacity of 200 for private functions where liquor is sold.  Combining all three levels of the boat there is a maximum sit-down meal capacity of 163.  Level 1 has a sit down capacity of 34; depending on whether or not music is set up during dinner, Level 2 has a seating capacity of 67 (without music) or 63 (with music).  Level 3 has a sit down capacity of 62.  Due to Canadian Coast Guard regulations, Level 3 has a maximum capacity of 65 people at any one time during cruising.

Catering

Let us put you in touch with one of our professional caterers who can offer you varied menus sure to please every palate and budget.  You may also arrange to bring on your own catering.   Meals aboard the Serendipity Princess are primarily buffet style.  

Licensed Bar Service

The Serendipity Princess is fully licensed with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario.  Beer, liquor, red and white wine and coolers are available.  We will accommodate special bar orders (an extra charge may apply over and above our regular bar costs).  Drinks may be "Cash Bar" (each person pays individually per drink) or you may wish to offer your guests a full "Host Bar" (the host pays for the guests' drinks).  A 15% gratuity will be added to the "Host Bar" total at the end of the cruise.  You may also choose "Partial Host Bar" (a combination of cash and host bar).

Payments

A charter deposit of $500.00 is due 90 days prior to the cruise date.  The full charter balance is due 14 days prior to departure.  Midland Tours requires 72 hours notice in the event of a cancellation for a full refund.   "Host Bar" must be approved by the Operations Supervisor prior to the cruise and a credit card number is required in the office and at the bar until payment is received.  

Decorating

Decorations are allowed providing there are no open flames such as candles.  Balloons, streamers, bows, etc. are permissible, however, only on the inside levels.  There should be nothing attached to the railings. We will, when available, schedule an extra half hour prior to the scheduled departure time at no cost for decorating.  Should you require additional time, there may be a charge associated.

Music

Groups may utilize our sound system by supplying their own CDs.  Our staff will be pleased to play them for you.  We can also accommodate a disc jockey or a 4 piece band...and room for dancing.

Additional Services (Transportation, Honeymoon vacation, Travel insurance)
